In Tribute

Swami Indrananda (Sri Indar Nath)

May the North West Region of the BWY pay tribute to the renowned and well loved Master and Teacher Sri Indar Nath of the Patanjali Centre for Classical Yoga who’s life spanned from November 1923 to December 2007. He spread his expert teaching of Yoga around the world and in this Country and taught for many years at Congress. He was Yoga in the true sense of the word and we send our condolences both to his family and hard working staff at the Ashram in Battle.

Yoga Teaching Scams

Watch out for bogus e-mails requesting one to one yoga teaching, be very suspect of any request where the sender does not reveal who they really are. The scam usually involves asking for rates for teaching yoga (no doubt other disciplines as well) they then accept your rates and send money order to cover the cost, they usually make a "mistake" and send too much requesting that you send them the surplus back! Needless to say their bank draft looks OK and will be accepted by banks, but will bounce later, by then they hope to have received your refund and cashed it so watch out.
